New Head Spa
Face Massage
The face work happens in the same hour as the scalp, on the same bed, with the same hands. There is no separate appointment for it and no separate price: the Face & Head Massage covers both, and the face comes second, once the wash is done and your shoulders have already dropped. Lighter pressure than the scalp, and slower than you expect.
What a face massage is good for
This is the part of the hour people tend to remember, and it is why the treatment reads as a facial to some and as a massage to others. What you get is the calm of a facial without the commitment: nothing is applied, nothing has to come off afterwards, and you can go straight back out without your skin looking like it has been worked on. It is included in the same price, so the decision is not whether to add it but how long to book.
Time and price (tax included)
| 45 minutes | $80 | Book |
|---|---|---|
| 60 minutes | $95 | Book |
| 90 minutes | $135 | Book |
The face and the scalp are one treatment. The time you choose covers both.
Who it suits
- A jaw that clenches without being asked to.
- A week spent in front of screens.
- Anyone who wants the quiet part of a facial and none of the rest of it.
- Anyone who finds the scalp alone is not quite enough.
Common questions
- Can I book the face on its own?
- The face and the scalp are booked together, as one treatment at one price. The time you choose covers both.
- Is this a facial?
- No. There is no cleansing, no steam and no mask. It is massage: the brow, the temples and the jaw, with lighter hands than the scalp.
- How long should I book?
- 45 minutes covers the wash and the scalp with a short pass over the face. 60 and 90 minutes give the face and the neck the longer end of the hour.
- Can I ask for lighter or firmer?
- Yes, at any point, including halfway through. The pressure is yours to set.
