New Head Spa
Hot Stones
Smooth basalt stones are warmed in water and worked into a massage: some rest on the back, others are held in the hand and move with it. The heat does most of the talking. It is the least demanding thing on the menu, and the one people most often add a second time.
What hot stones are good for
Add it in winter, or any time you are the person who is cold when nobody else is. The heat lets the hands work without pushing as hard, so it suits anyone who wants the effect of firm pressure without the firmness of it. The stones are tested before they touch you, so there is nothing to brace for. At $15 it is the smaller of the two add-ons, it goes with any session including a package, and it is the one people most often come back for a second time.

Common questions
- How hot are the stones?
- Warm, not hot. They are heated in water and tested before they touch you.
- Can I book hot stones on their own?
- No. They are worked into a massage rather than booked instead of one.
- What are the stones?
- Smooth basalt, heated in water. Some are left resting where the back is tightest; the rest are held in the hand and move with it.
- How do I add it?
